We offer prairie dog shooting trips on private land in June and
July. On this hunt you would arrive on day 1, hunt days 2 and 3 and
depart on the morning of day 4. You get 2 full days hunting and three
nights lodging. This hunt does not include meals as meals are taken at
local cafes nearest to where we are hunting.
There are also grocery stores in the area where a person can pack a
lunch if they wish. This is a great trip for clients who like to shoot
and coyote hunting or coyote calling can also be done early mornings or
late evenings if desired. Some clients also take badgers during this
hunt as an added bonus.
There is no license required on this trip!!! We supply shooting
benches, shooting bags, and all transportation from the camp to the
different dog towns. We have several different areas and manage the
shooting so that the dog towns are not over shot. Most clients shoot
from 100-300 rounds per day at prairie dogs. This is a great summer
trip and sight-seeing can be incorporated into the trip also. Custer
Battlefield and Yellowstone National Park are easy driving distance
from our hunting camp not to mention many other historical sights in
the immediate area.
